  1. Why do we forget SUBHAS ?
Because WE are fools. Clement Atlee himself confirmed that Gandhi's Quit India Movement had practically died out long before 1947. When asked “what was Gandhi's contribution in your decision to grant India an independent status?” he said “MINIMAL”.

When asked who was the one because of whom you had to leave India, one of the officers said three words “Subhash Subhash Subhash”, referring to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Practically, Gandhi's non-violence campaigns achieved nothing, except gaining support from innocent people for whom this “Ahimsa” and all sounded very great and so they referred to him as Mahatma. Non-violence instilled no fear in British government, nor did it make British feel any sympathy for Indians.

What Gandhi really do good was asking people to boycott British goods and become swadeshi.

Gandhi's non-violence approach wasn't totally wrong, but it sure was completely impractical. Because India has always shown a brotherly approach towards all countries before anyone annexed us. Yet those British rulers didn't reciprocate this. So the ideal strategy would be well-planned violence against them, which Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose understood.
